How are you experiencing your grief?
Grief is a personal experience and your grief is unique to you. Often people struggle with feeling deep sadness and a range of complex emotions including anger, fear, confusion and even relief.
Perhaps its the brain fog and inability to cope with day to day decisions and functions that is affecting you the most. Or perhaps you are feeling lonely, misunderstood and disconnected.
Do you have people in your life offering unhelpful platitudes or advice that isn't resonating with what you feel or need?

Grief isn't easy and you deserve to be supported through this.
What I offer as a Grief Doula
I have experienced profound loss of a loved one, so my lived experience has prepared me to sit with pain, difficult conversations and heartbreaking circumstances.

My training as a doula and counsellor, will allow me to hold compassionate space for you without judgement or agenda.
​
I offer a range of emotional and practical support options to meet you where you are at in your grief journey. This may include talk therapy, mindfulness tools, meditation, movement, supporting you through practical tasks following the death of your person and helping you gather and widen your support network.

We might have one session, multiple sessions, or you might like to choose my one month support package, The Grief Companion.

I believe that if you give yourself the opportunity to have your grief witnessed and supported, you will be able to take your next steps with more inner peace, empowerment and self-compassion.
Grief support can make a difference
We’ll work together to explore your unique experience of loss, uncovering ways to process the pain and eventually find a path forward. There isn't a need to fix or erase your grief, but through our conversations I trust that you will gain a deeper understanding of grief and discover coping tools to help you manage, while also honouring your loss.
Grief support can help you feel more grounded, connected and equipped to carry your grief with you. As we work together, you may find a renewed connection with yourself and others, an inner calm and a sense of hope as you navigate your life after loss. Many people feel that having a safe space to share what they are going through, without fear of judgment, has played a key role in helping them feel less alone.

It's completely up to you how many sessions you have. No referral is needed and you can choose how to reach out. Session cost is $80 AUD per hour. I can visit you on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland or we can connect online. I also offer a one month support option that includes daily connection via phone and messages, see The Grief Companion for more information.
